What The Draw DIY Does and How It Works
Step 1: Build Your Hunt Cart on the NM Game and Fish Website
- Go to the New Mexico Game and Fish website and add everything you need to your cart, including licenses and applications for all the hunts you dream about.
Step 2: Log in to The Draw DIY Website
- Sign our Limited Power of Attorney (POA), which allows us to act on your behalf.
- Provide us with your New Mexico Game and Fish login credentials.
Step 3: We Take Care of the Checkout Process
- Using your login, we access your cart on the NM Game and Fish website.
- We review your selections and send you a request for payment.

This includes your licenses, application fees, and our service fee:
- $99 for residents
- up to $599 for non-residents
- Once payment is complete, we check out for you on the Game and Fish website. This includes paying for all tag costs upfront.
Step 4: Group Applications and Outfitters
- Whether you’re applying as a group, with an outfitter, or just solo, The Draw DIY works exactly like the normal NM application process. The difference? We float the money for you.
Step 5: If You Draw Tags
- If you successfully draw a tag, we’ll send you an invoice. You’ll have 2 weeks to pay for the tags.
- If payment isn’t received, we’ll charge the same credit card you provided, including the tag costs.
- Need flexibility? Contact us, and we can arrange a payment plan.
Your Responsibility
While we handle the application process and upfront payments, you remain responsible for paying for any tags you draw.
